Government offices revise details whenever they need to, and they rarely send out a heads-up first. Rosters and online locators also refresh on a delay, so what you see may already be out of date. We cannot promise that every detail is current. Before you travel to a facility or send anyone money, call the office directly to confirm.

No Records Are Kept Here
This site stores no jail rosters, inmate records, booking photos, warrant data, or court files of its own. What we do is point you toward the offices and locators that hold them, such as the Danbury Police records unit, the Connecticut Department of Correction inmate search, the Connecticut Judicial Branch courts, and the federal BOP and ICE locators. To confirm custody or obtain an actual record, request it from the office that holds it, under the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act where it applies. Connecticut law treats public-agency records as public unless an exemption applies. C.G.S. Sec. 1-210 sets the general public-records rule, Sec. 1-212 covers copies and fees, and Sec. 1-215 addresses records of arrest. Some criminal records may be removed from public view through the state's erasure law at Sec. 54-142a.
